Day 1. Arusha - Ngorongoro
Depart Arusha for Ngorongoro arriving in time for lunch at lodge.
Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Bougainvillea Safai Lodge.
Breakfast at the lodge and descend to the crater floor by a
special 4WD vehicle for a full day of game viewing, Picnic lunch taken at the
crater, which hosts an unbelievable variety of wildlife. This is an experience
to treasure always. Ascend back to Bougainvillea Safai Lodge for dinner
and overnight.
Day 3. Serengeti National Park
Breakfast at lodge and depart Ngorongoro for vast Serengeti
National Park. Stop at Olduvai Gorge, the site for the famous archeological
finds by the Leakey family. Lunch at lodge in Serengeti. Afternoon game drive
inside the park. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife Lodge.
Breakfast followed by morning game drive to different parts of
the park. Serengeti is famous for it's annual migration when millions of
wildebeest (gnus) and zebras set off for Maasai Mara for better grazing grounds
and water. Serengeti boasts of more than 35 species of plains game including the
"Big Five" as well as extensive bird life. Meals and overnight at Seronera
Wildlife Lodge.
Day 5. Lake Manyara National Park
Early breakfast in Serengeti and proceed to Lake Manyara National
Park. Lunch at Lake Manyara Hotel. Afternoon game drive inside the Park, look
for and shoot a picture of the curious tree-climbing lions, Lake Manyara has a
marvelous concentration of game including 350 species of birds. See the simba
river populated with schools of Hippo and bird life. Dinner and overnight at
Migunga tented Camp.
Breakfast in Manyara and depart for Arusha arriving in time for
lunch .Board your flight and cross the Indian Ocean to the historical Island of
Zanzibar "the spice island". Overnight at Pongwe Beach Hotel. HB
At leisure or visit places of interest including the rich
plantations of "Gold of Zanzibar" Cloves. Overnight at Pongwe Beach Hotel. HB
At leisure/water sports. Overnight at Pongwe Beach Hotel. HB
Transfer to Zanzibar Airport to board your flight back home.
