Departure on a daily basis at 07.00 am (Please enquire for 1 night or more)
Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu
At 0815 hrs, check in at Wilson Airport for your flight to Samburu
departing at 0915 hrs. You will be met at the airstrip upon arrival and
transferred to your lodge, animal viewing en-route, arriving for lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy a safari drive in the scenic Samburu National
Reserve.
Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.
A full day in Samburu, with morning and evening game drives. Samburu
National Reserve is a wildlife haven. Here you will spot Africa’s big
cats - lions, cheetahs and the elusive leopard. Some animals are unique
to this northern Kenya park: Grevys Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk,
Blue Swanked Somali Ostrich and the Beisa Oryx. The Ewaso Nyiro River,
the boundary with the neighboring Buffalo Springs National Reserve, is
where the elephants, buffalo and other animal species gather for a
drink. You will find the scenic semiarid landscape quite dramatic. The
reserve is located within the lands of the colorful semi-nomadic
Samburu tribesmen. All meals and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.
Day 3: Samburu to Nairobi
Early morning safari drive with breakfast at the lodge. Later in the
day, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to
Nairobi departing at 11.10 AM, to arrive Nairobi at 12.15 O’clock
Animals you are likely to see: Africa’s big cats - lions, cheetahs and
the elusive leopard and the special five: Grevys Zebra, Reticulated
Giraffe, Gerenuk, Blue Shanked Somali Ostrich and the Beisa Oryx.
