Mara Siria is an exceptional, ecological, solar powered luxury tented bush camp at the peak of the Siria escarpment specially designed for adventurous travelers who want to experience a true sense of wildlife safari off the beaten track.
The camp gives an atmosphere of Natural balance, tranquility and the most breath-taking view of the World famous Mara Triangle and its environs, in Masai Mara National Reserve.

Local Airlines have daily flights to the Mara from Wilson Airport. The camp uses the Kichwa Airstrip which is a 20 minutes drive to camp.

 

Tents & Rooms
A tented Eco-logical Camp open all year round and is strategically situated on the Siria escarpment (1,850m above sea level), with warm days, cool nights and no humidity, thus flaunting a magnificent view of the vast Mara Triangle landscape.

The camp is not fenced which gives the feel of adventure as animals wander around the camp and this has no negative implications on the wild as their movement is not restricted; the camp has 2 game viewer vehicles available for use by the Fly Package and ground though a guest can request and pay extra for exclusive use.
The camp utilizes solar power and has only one generator used at the charging compartment for the charging guests’ electronics.

Accommodations
The camp has 14 distantly placed units for exclusivity, privacy and serenity. Each tent has private verandas and they are en-suite with flush toilet, solar powered lighting system, safari hot water showers, unique antique décor fused with African art.

Game Drives
These are a breathtaking adventurous drives at the vast Masai Mara using our “game viewing” vehicles while accompanied by our professional, competent and affable driver guides. Night game drives can be planned on requests. Bushwalks
The camp offers a way to integrate to the community by organizing bush walks. Bushwalks are a good unwinding way to explore Nature
as you Bird watch and get insight about the rarest flora available from our adept Masai guide.

Cultural Visits
A trip to the Mara is incomplete if you haven’t met and socialized with the unique inhabitants; Masai. The camp organizes accompanied
cultural visits be sure to participate and appreciate their way of life.

Mountain-biking
Advanced adrenalin powered Mountain-bike tours are available for all and can be customized to your requirements including invigorating
rides within the camp or familiarize with the society riding around the escarpment.

Trips to Rusinga Island, Lake Victoria
Combine your safari of the Mara with a daytrip to the Rusinga Island, can be arranged by the camp. The camp is located about 64 miles
(100 km) away from the Lake Victoria. Among the activities that may be of interest are Water sports, Fishing, Bird watching and Rock art.

Hot Air Balloon Trips
Top your visit to the Mara with a marvelous balloon trip; a breathtaking birds' eye view of the animal trails, the diverse landscape, the Mara river, the wildlife, the arc of the sun rise and a champagne breakfast makes it a worthwhile venture.
