DESCRIPTION
Loisaba is a 61,000 acre private ranch and game sanctuary.
Loisaba Lodge has 7 rooms, and looks out from the top of an escarpment over many miles of empty wilderness to Mt. Kenya in the distance. Each room has its own private deck and the same magnificent view.

The lodge has a swimming pool, tennis court, boules court and spa with massage facilities.
Loisaba House is a truly exclusive, self-contained private house with a cliff-top infinity pool. It is built on the edge of the escarpment. The location and architecture of the house are breathtaking, as are the furnishings, most of which have been designed and made at Loisaba.
Loisaba Cottage is approximately 9kms from the main lodge. It is set back from the escarpment in beautifully landscaped gardens with a private swimming pool.

Kiboko Star Beds are 20 minutes drive from the lodge and overlook a waterhole. Each Star Bed is designed on a raised, handcrafted, wooden platform that is partially covered with a thatched roof. Homemade ‘Mukokoteni’ beds can either be wheeled onto the open deck for a night under the stars, or left under the shelter of the roof.

Koija Star Beds are 30 minutes drive from the lodge and overlook the Ewaso Nyiro River.

Loisaba airstrip is a 15 minute drive from the lodge

WHAT FORM OF ELECTRICITY DOES LOISABA HAVE
ƒ Loisaba Lodge has 24 hour 240 volt power (provided 6.5 hrs by Generator and 17.5 hrs by alternative power).
ƒ Loisaba Cottage has 240 volt power provided 24 hours a day by battery invertors.
ƒ Loisaba House has 240 volt power provided 24 hours a day by battery invertors.
ƒ Loisaba Star Beds do not have electricity.
ƒ Batteries can be charged at all times.
ƒ At Loisaba Lodge and Loisaba House, hairdryers can be used only when the generator is on (am and pm). At Loisaba Cottage, the generator can be put on by request if needed for hairdryer use.
Guests are recommended to bring converters & universal plug adaptors.

MEAL POLICY
Communal dining is encouraged at the lodge and starbeds but we can do private dinners on request
Breakfast: 07h00 to 09h30, Lunch: 13h00 to 15h00, Dinner: 19h30 until all have finished
The camp has a daily set menu.
Please inform us about any dietary requirements prior to arrival.
Guests that have booked to arrive before Lunch, but do
not, are charged for an extra lunch on their day of departure (if they require lunch on their day of departure).

Bottled drinking water is provided free of charge.
