Amboseli National Park,  Samburu Game Reserve,  Masai Mara Game Reserve

 

Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

Amboseli – Depart Nairobi early in the morning for a flight to Amboseli National park. Take morning and afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge.

Amboseli is a photogenic park best known for its unrivalled views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and the local elephant population. There are over 1000 elephants in the parks eco-system, featuring some of the largest in Africa.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park

Full day in this photogenic park with morning and evening game drives.

 

Day 3: Amboseli - Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast depart Amboseli for Nairobi Wilson airport and take a connecting for flight toSamburu. Afternoon game drive is taken. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Samburu game reserve is home to some of the rare wildlife species including the Beisa oryx, Reticule Giraffes, Masai ostrich and the Gravy’s zebras.

Day 4: Samburu National Reserve

Full day in Samburu with 2 game drives. All meals and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.
 

Day 5: Samburu - Masai Mara Game Reserve

Depart Samburu after breakfast and take a flight to Nairobi for lunch at Carnivore Restaurant (The Restaurant Serving Game Meat in Kenya). Afternoon fly to Masai Mara National Reserve. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savannah- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.

Day 6: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Spend full day at Masai Mara game reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.
 

Day 7: Masai Mara - Nairobi

Take an early morning game drive before breakfast. After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for flight to Nairobi.
