Day 1: Mombasa - Tsavo East |
|
0800hrs: On arrival at the Moi International Airport
Mombasa, you will be met by your driver guide and given
your safari brief. After the brief, drive north to the
Tsavo East National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at
Voi wildlife Lodge. After lunch, take an afternoon game
drive. Dinner and overnight at lodge.
Divided into 3 parts by the Tiva and Galana rivers, the
Tsavo East National Park is Kenya's largest National
Park covering an area of 11,700sq kms. It is a hot,
waterless dry region with an annual rainfall of less
than 51cm recorded, and has a large diversity of
landscapes from the gorges of Lugard falls with its
water carved rocks to the natural catchments at Mwanda.
The park has dramatic sights of large mammals including
great herds of elephant, antelope, hippos, black rhino,
eland, lions and giraffe plus a host of birdlife. It is
an ideal place for exclusive camping, game circuits and
adventures and is the greatest of all Kenya's parks. The
middle section of the park has many rock and cave
paintings. |

Day 2: Tsavo East - Tsavo West |
|
Take a pre breakfast game drive and after breakfast,
depart for Tsavo west with game drives en - route
arriving in time for lunch. After lunch take a late
afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni
Serena Lodge.
Tsavo West National Park was established in 1948 and is
bordered by Taita Hills to the east at the water
margins. It covers a total area of 9065sq kilometers and
hosts a wide variety of wildlife species from the 'Big
Five' (Lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant),
numerous other carnivores, gazelles to over 150 bird
species.
The park also has the Mzima springs, Shaitani Lava Flow
which consists of caves, three craters, basalt flows and
lava splashes. Bordering Tanzania to the south east with
areas of unending succession of fantastic views across
the plains dotted with fin graphite, marble and sulphite
deposit. |

Day 3: Tsavo - Amboseli National Park |
|
After breakfast, depart with game drives en-route to
Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at
Amboseli Serena Lodge.
Amboseli National Park is located near the foot of
mount Kilimanjaro. The ecosystem mainly savannah
grassland spread across the Kenya-Tanzania border. The
park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get
close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife
species. Other attractions of the park include
opportunities to meet the Masai and spectacular views of
Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in
the world. |

Day 4: Amboseli National Park |
|
Spend Full Day at Amboseli with Morning and afternoon
game drives. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena
Lodge. |

Day 5: Amboseli - Masai Mara |
|
0930: Depart Amboseli in the morning aboard a flight via
Nairobi to Masai Mara. Arrive Masai Mara in time for
lunch at Mara Safari Club.
The Masai Mara game park is if anything the world's
most famous game reserve. It is the best known and the
most patronized game sanctuary in Kenya. Located on the
south western part of Kenya and within the the Great
Rift Valley, the savannah lands of the Masai Mara hold
within their boarders an unsurpassed number of wildlife.
The Masai Mara is teeming with wild animals with over
452 animal varieties or species having been documented
here. Almost all species of animals can be seen in the
Mara. |

Day 6: Masai Mara |
|
Spend the entire day in the park with morning and
evening game drives. Other optional activities include
nature walks at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight at
Mara Safari Club |
|
Day 7: Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru |
|
This day, you will be picked by your driver/guide at
10.00am and depart Masai Mara for Lake Nauru National
Park. Arrive at Lake Nakuru lodge in time for lunch.
Relax and later take a late afternoon game drive in the
park.
The Lake Nakuru Park ecosystem comprises of the lake,
surrounded by mainly wooded and bushy grasslands. The
park supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos
(Greater and Lesser) and other water birds being the
major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides
for about 56 different species of mammals including the
white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial
birds numbering nearly 450 species. |

Day 8: lake Nakuru - Mombasa |
|
Take a pre breakfast game drive and after breakfast,
depart for Nairobi to catch your Mombasa Bound flight.
Before taking the flight to Mombasa, you will be treated
to a healthful lunch at Carnivores Restaurant where you
get to sample game meat.
03:30 hrs: Depart Wilson Airport for Diani beach to
start your beach holiday at Pinewood village beach
resort |

Day 9 -13: Pinewood Village Beach Resort |
|
Half Board accommodation in suites which include:
sitting & dining area, kitchen, private veranda,
bathroom with double shower, split unit air conditioner,
mosquito net, ceiling fan, mini-bar, tea/coffee,
telephone, internet, hairdryer, safe - payable.
Personnel chef for dinner.
Spend the days relaxing and engaging in various
activities of your choice including water sports, indoor
games, snorkeling and excursions to nearby site
including Wasini island and Shimoni (Water sports and
excursion at an extra cost) |

Day 14: End of Holiday |
|
After Lunch, you will be transferred to Mombasa
International Airport to catch your out bound flight. |
