About Sarova Shaba
Located in the Shaba Game Reserve is the breathtaking Sarova Shaba Lodge. Shaba Game reserve is the home of shooting of the movie "Born Free Country," and home to the great conservationists Joy and George Adamson.
At this great gateaway, you will meet the colorful Samburu tribe (close relatives of the Maasai) and see unique game species only found in this area. You will also visit the crocodile infested Uaso Nyiro River.
Sarova Shaba is located about  314km (5 hours) from Nairobi by road and 45 minutes by flight. This beautiful oasis gives comfort in the semi desert Shaba area which experiences hot dry days and warm nights.

Sarova Shaba Lodge boasts of 85 chalets overlooking the Uaso Nyiro River where crocodiles can be seen sunbathing on the bank.
Accommodation comprises of several family rooms; 4 junior suites each with separate bathroom and lounge and 1 presidential suite.
The decor of the chalets blends with the adjoining environment and each is furnished with;

● Rates are based on full board accommodation in standard rooms and are inclusive of taxes, but net of holiday supplements

Child rate

- Based on one child under the age of 12 sharing the specified room with adult/s. Children below the age of 2 are free

Cancellation Policy
Reservations that are canceled, reduced in length of stay or reduced in numbers are subject to cancellation and no show fees.

Note: We also offer safari, car rentals and flight bookings which we can organize for you with your hotel/lodge inquiry.
Park/Reserve gate opens at 0600am and closes at 0600pm

CHECK IN TIME / CHECK OUT TIME
Check in time at hotels is 1100hrs.
Early check in will be charged at extra night.
Late arrivals should be advised in advance to avoid auto cancellation of the reservation.
In case check in is delayed than the expected arrival date, the delay will be treated as no show.
Check out time is at 1000hrs.
Day room use can be arranged at extra fee and is applicable from 1000hrs to 1800hrs.
Room use after 1800hrs will be charged at full night rate.
