Set on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in the renowned Samburu Game Reserve is Elephant Bedroom Camp is  surrounded by palms trees and other beautiful indigenous trees. The camp is small and intimate with simplistic elegance, luxury and style, providing an astonishing safari experience.

 

Accommodation:

Twelve spacious, insect-proof bedroom tents, each with a private veranda overlooking the river. Inspired by the textures and colours of African nature, each of the 12 beautifully appointed tents surround you with luxury. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with hot & cold running water, rain showers and flush toilets. Individual verandas encourage guests to linger while admiring the lush wilderness of the area.

The cozy lounge and dining area with original oil paintings and soft intimate lighting open to the outside capturing the tranquil surroundings. Dining is a culinary experience with al-fresco meals and candle lit gourmet dinners set either under the African sky or inside the romantic dining area.

 

Recreation:      

Drinks Policy : Water, soft drinks, beer and house wine included in the room rates. champagne , special wines and spirits are at an additional cost.

Dining & Lounge:

- Spacious dining & lounge tent with large veranda to maximise views.

- Breakfast and lunch are served ?al fresco? on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River under the shade of the trees (weather permitting).

- Dinner is served in the dining area.

- Private meals can be arranged on the guest tent veranda or under the stars.

- Continental style cuisine caters to a variety of dietary requirements.

- Kerosene lanterns bathe the paths at night and guests are escorted by Samburu warriors.

Conservation:

Elephant Bedroom Camp is environmentally sensitive and takes responsibility to enhance the environment on a sustainable basis. The camp employs members of the local community and also contributes to the education of this community.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations that are cancelled, reduced in length of stay or reduced in numbers are subject to cancellation and no show fees.

Park/Reserve gate opens at 0600am and closes at 0600pm

CHECK IN TIME / CHECK OUT TIME

Check in time at hotels is 1100hrs.

Early check in will be charged at extra night.

Late arrivals should be advised in advance to avoid auto cancellation of the reservation.

In case check in is delayed than the expected arrival date, the delay will be treated as no show.

Check out time is at 1000hrs.

Day room use can be arranged at extra fee and is applicable from 1000hrs to 1800hrs.

Room use after 1800hrs will be charged at full night rate.
