6 Days Rwanda Safari / Golden Monkeys & Akagera

Day 1: Arrival

Arrival at Kigali Airport – meets and greeting, comment on the safari by our representative. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 2: Kigali – Volcanoes National Park

Transfer in the volcanoes national park. The morning you must be at the office of ORTPN at 7:00 for a comment of the trekking of gorillas.

After lunch, visit of CULTURAL VILLAGE IBYIWACU or visit of Twin lakes BURERA and RUHONDO, Overnight at the lodge.

 

Day 3: Volcanoes National Park – Akagera National Park.

Visit of golden monkeys in the morning when you must be at the Office of the ORTPN at 7:00 for a briefing of visit. Transfer to Kigali for the lunch. Afterwards transfer to the East of the country in the Akagera National Park. Overnight at the lodge.

 

Day 4: Akagera National Park

Visit of Akagera national park, a safari of an awfully assorted fauna: buffaloes, gazelles, giraffes, zebras, hippopotamuses, etc, without

forgetting the many ones birds species of the savanna, the lakes and the marshes, Rwanda has 726 varieties of birds in 1388 species observed recently in East Africa. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 5: Akagera – Kigali

Visits of Akagera national park; Excursion in Kigali. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 6: Depart

Excursion in Kigali town, visits of genocide memorial. Lunch and transfer to Kigali airport.
