Depart Nairobi in the morning for Lake Nakuru with a
brief stop at The Great Rift Valley view point to view
the floor of the Rift Valley from the escarpment.
Proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving with a game drive en –
route your camp.
Lake Nakuru is often referred to as the ‘Pink Lake’ for
its great flocks of flamingos. Besides birds there is a
variety of wild game. Arrive in time for lunch. Later in
the afternoon, take a game drive in the park till dusk.
Lake Nakuru is the perfect place to experience one of
the world's largest ornithological spectacles, the Pink
Flamingoes, or a rich concentration of wildlife
including black and white Columbus monkey and is also a
famed Rhino Sanctuary.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha |
Take a pre breakfast game
drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. After breakfast
depart for Lake Naivasha visiting the Hell’s Gate
National Park before proceeding for
lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort.
In the afternoon
visit the lake and take a cruise/boat ride to Crescent
Island where you will take a nature walk and get a
chance to take photographs amongst wildlife.
Return to the Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort
for dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at Lake Naivasha
and depart for Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch.
The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance
that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of
animals have been recorded here. You will easily see
lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests,
zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs,
buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant.
It is in the Masai Mara that perhaps the most
spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This
is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and
zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water
and pasture between July and October). Following on
their heels are the predators of the savannah- lion,
cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.
Take an afternoon game
drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa lodge.
Full day in Masai Mara. With morning and afternoon game drive.
At
the break of dawn on this day, you can take an optional
balloon safari (at an extra cost of US$ 450) over the
plains of Masai Mara to enjoy the vista. On landing you
will be treated to a heart-full champagne breakfast in
the bush before taking a game drive back to your lodge.
Also on this day, take a cultural visit to a local
village to learn about the contemporary Masai Culture.
All meals and overnight at
Mara Sopa lodge.
Take a pre-breakfast game drive and after breakfast depart for
Nairobi to arrive by around 1400 hours.
