4 Days Akagera National Park

Day 1: Arrival

Arrival at Kigali Airport – meets and greeting, comment on the safari by our representative. Overnight at  the hotel.

 

Day 2: Kigali - Akagera National Park

Briefing on your safari. Drive to the east of Rwanda to Akagera National Park bordering Tanzania. Game drive in the park to see a variety of birds and animals such as elephant, giraffe, buffalo, spotted hyena, hippo, and crocodiles. Overnight at the lodge.

 

Day 3: Akagera National Park

Game drives in the park with a canoe ride on Lake Ihema to see the large number of hippo, the huge Nile crocodile and birds. Overnight at the lodge.

 

Day 4: Akagera National Park - Kigali

An early morning game drive, transfer to Kigali, excursion in Kigali town, contacts with local population for the discovery of artisanal products (Collar, Bracelet, etc…), visit of the genocide memorial, then transfer towards Kigali airport.
