Day 2: Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve |
0700 hrs after breakfast, depart for flight to Masai
Mara at 10am. Arrive at 11am. Meet and assist and
transfer to the lodge. Lunch and afternoon game drive
follows.
The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and
abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450
species of animals have been recorded here. You will
easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles,
giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs,
hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many
kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara
that perhaps the most spectacular event of the
natural world takes place. This is the annual
migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from
the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and
pasture. Following on their heels are the predators
of the savannah- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal,
hyena and vultures.

Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve

Full day at Mara, with morning and afternoon game drive.
Rest of the day at leisure – relax by the pool. You may
opt for an early morning balloon safari to take in the
cool air of the morning while watching game with a birds
view.

Day 4: Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru National Park |
After early morning game drive and after breakfast,
depart by road transfer for Lake Nakuru National Park, a
bird, and Rhino sanctuary. This scenic lake is famous
for its millions of pink flamingos, along with other
wildlife. Evening game drive.
Lake Nakuru National park lies in the Great Rift
Valley, 140km north-west of Nairobi. The ecosystem
comprises of the lake, surrounded by mainly wooded
and bushy grasslands. The park supports a wide
ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and
Lesser) and other water birds being the major
attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for
about 56 different species of mammals including the
white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of
terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park – Sweet Waters
Game Reserve |
After early morning game drive and breakfast, depart for
Sweetwater’s Game Reserve in Laikipia.
On arrival in Sweet Waters Game Reserve, check in and
after lunch rest before proceeding for an afternoon game
drive.
Sweetwater’s Game reserve lies astride the equator and
is dissected in the middle by the equator.
Sweetwater's Game Reserve, with magnificent views across
the plains to the snow capped peaks of Mount Kenya. The
luxury tents overlook the waterhole, floodlit by night,
providing excellent and secluded rarely seen game
viewing. This game sanctuary is home to all the big five
game, and has the highest ratio of game-to-area of any
park or reserve in Kenya. At Sweetwater's, there is
plenty to do. Game drives at Sweetwater's are indeed a
pleasure.
In the evening, you can take an optional night game
drive at an extra cost of US$ 90 per person.

Day 6: Sweet Waters Game Reserve |
Spend full day in the Game reserve with visits to the
chimpanzee Sanctuary. Sweetwater’s is also home to Ol
Pajeta Conservancy – with the largest population of the
endangered Black Rhino’s in East Africa.

Day 7: Sweetwater’s - Nairobi |
After early morning game drive and breakfast, depart for
a 3 hour drive to Nairobi with lunch en route before
being dropped at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
1300hrs: Depart aboard a flight for Mombasa arriving at
1400hrs. On arrival you will be met and transferred to
Diani beach in south coast to begin your beach holiday
at Pinewood Village Beach Resort.
